DCC Package 6B

The Division of Cannabis Control (“DCC” or “the Division”) is submitting the following proposed rules to the Common Sense Initiative and seeking public comment by Monday, October 13, 2025.

Comments may be emailed to DCCRules@com.ohio.gov and CSIPublicComments@governor.ohio.gov.

The Division is proposing several new rules pursuant to O.R.C. 3780. The new rules apply to both medical and non-medical cannabis and cover the following topics:

  • 1301:18-4-04 Requirements for Universal THC Symbol
  • 1301:18-4-06 Limitations on Packages of Cannabis Intended for Direct Customer Sale
  • 1301:18:4-19 Pre-Approval Requirements for Packaging and Labeling Intended for Direct Customer Sale
  • 1301:18-4-20 Packaging and Labeling for Cannabis Intended for Direct Customer Sale
  • 1301:18-4-21 Additional Limitations on Packaging and Labeling Intended for Direct Customer Sale
  • 1301:18-4-23 Single Serving Units

Stakeholders may submit comments to  and  by 5:00pm on Monday, October 13, 2025.

The Division will review and consider the comments received prior to submitting the proposed rules to the Joint Committee on Agency Rule Review in accordance with Chapter 119 of the Ohio Revised Code.
