Beginning October 5th, Ohio’s cannabis regulations are changing, and we want to make it easy to understand what that means for you.

Under the updated requirements, adult-use edibles may contain up to 10 mg of THC per serving and up to 100 mg of THC per package.

As products transition to the updated requirements, you may notice differences in edible package sizes, serving counts and total THC amounts on dispensary shelves.

A few things to keep in mind:

• Check the serving size. The total THC listed on the package isn’t necessarily the amount in one serving.
• Look for both numbers. Labels should tell you the THC amount per serving and the total amount in the package.
• Products may look a little different. Packaging, serving counts and product configurations may change as manufacturers transition to the new requirements.
• Keep edibles in their original packaging when they’re not actively being used, as required under Ohio law.
