The Red Run Cannabis Company opened on November 21, 2016. It was the first dispensary to open in the Kenai Peninsula. The company originally sold product from Greatland Ganja until they were able to get their own cultivation program up and running. They are licensed by the state as both a dispensary and a cultivator.
Red Run is owed by Roger Boyd, Marc Theiler and Eric Derleth.
Red Run is the manufacturer of Hashade, a lemonade infused with THC. The drink became very popular very quickly. In September 2019, the company ran into some issues as customers reported finding mold in their Hashade drinks. The company issued the following statement:
“We at Red Run Cannabis Company would like to apologize to all of our customers, followers, and fans. We are issuing a partial recall on batch 8-12 of our Hashade due to a failure in processing which led to several bottles going bad. We are working diligently to make sure the failure has been properly identified and corrected. If you purchased Hashade from this batch, and it’s gone bad, you’re eligible for a full replacement or refund. Take pictures or notes of any critical information. Send your notes, pics, and a summary of your experience to complaints@redruncannabiscompany.com. Please call ahead before attempting to return any product.
