Adopted rule changes
On May 15, 2024 the Board of Health adopted changes to 5 CCR 1006-2, Medical Use of Marijuana Rules. These changes will be effective July 15, 2024. The changes include:
Technical changes to correct formatting, punctuation, and capitalization.
Application processing fee of $52.
Application processing fee
This will become $52 effective July 15, 2024.
Online payments
When an applicant pays by credit card or electronic check online they are charged a small transaction fee.
The transaction fee for an electronic check will be $1, which will bring the total to $53.
The transaction fee for a credit card will be $1.94 which will bring the total to $53.94.
Mailed applications
Applications postmarked on or after July 15, 2024 will need to include a $52 application processing fee.
Mailed applications must be sent via certified mail which is $4.40. The total cost of the application fee and certified mail service is $56.40. Postage costs may vary depending on the weight of the application packet. Return receipts can be purchased for an additional fee.
